If you're one of those people who are always in a rush or don't have much time to put food on the table, but would love to cook something the whole family would enjoy, then this is for you. I really don't know if you guys are familiar with Chow Fun. For some reason, I always thought this food was more of a Hawaii staple. Why? I have no clue. But if you love noodles & beef then you must try this recipe out. It's simple, flavorful, affordable to make & doesn't take a lifetime to make.
1 pack of Bacon
1 tray of Ground Beef
1 slab of Fish Cake
1 bag of Bean Sprouts
5-6 packs of Dynasty Chow Fun Noodles (You can find this in the Asian aisle or in the fridge where they store other noodles). If your grocery store doesn't carry this brand, then any type of Chow Fun noodles is fine. Just cook noodles according to package directions.
1 stalk of Green Onions
Soy Sauce (I recommend Aloha) & Pepper to taste
1. Start off by cooking the Bacon. When it's halfway cooked, add Ground Beef & cook mixture until it's thoroughly cooked. Do not make Bacon crispy.
2. Once that's done, start adding noodles & occasionally stir to prevent sticking. Add Soy sauce & pepper to taste. You'll know when the noodles are done when noodles are no longer sticking to eachother. Add Bean Sprouts & automatically turn heat off and mix.
3. Transfer everything into a pan. Slice fishcake into thin slices & chop green onions. Add to Chow Fun for garnish.
Voila! All done! I hope you found this recipe easy. I tried my best to describe how I cook it. If you do try it out, please let me know. Feel free to change things around to your liking :D Enjoy!
