Mini Milani Haul

So today, I went to Walgreens in search of storage containers to put some of my junk in. I found some plastic holders at Walgreens in the kitchen department. They were super cheap. I think it was $1.79 for a pack of 3. So I got 2 of them. When I got home, some things just weren't working out for me. The drawers couldn't fit all my stuff! Hahaha. I managed to use a few of the drawers though. I had to! I just needed to free as much space as I possibly could. My makeup drawers are a huge mess! I can't begin to even tell you guys how messy, cluttered & un-organized I am when it comes to stashing my makeup. They're seriously all over the place.

Before all of that though, you know I walked straight to the makeup department once I walked through those doors. As I was walking around, a nail polish caught my eye. I saw this beautiful red color just screaming my name. I definitely picked it up. I'm really thinking of going to pick up 2 more to giveaway as part of my '100 followers' giveaway. I don't know why I didn't get it today?! LOL. The nail polish is by Sinful Colors in the color Ruby Ruby. Then I bumped into Milani :) Oh heyyyyyy! You know I was all over that! Such a disappointment though because they were out of liquif'eye liners. They only had the brown one in stock so I picked that up. I was stoked to see that they had it in Walgreens because I've never seen them there before, till today. I'm telling you, I'm getting all the colors!! These liners shit on any liner out there. Well, that's my opinion atleast haha. I was overly excited to also see the Baked Blushes there! Ahhhhhhhhhh *screams* I've heard so much about these babies & wondered to myself when was I ever gonna see them around. The makeup gods finally answered my prayers today. I wanted them all today but opted to only pick up the most "popular" ones. I got Fantastico Muave, Corallina & Luminoso. I hear everyone rave about these so I was happy that I was able to get my hands on them. They're so pigmented so be careful when applying. Use a light hand or use a stippling brush.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! After re-arranging some things in our room, this is what my makeup area looks like... for now.

I can say it looks so much better than what it looked like before. I completely forgot to take "before" photos "/ I really wish all my makeup could fit on this shelf but sadly, a lot of my makeup is tucked away in my traincase & shoved in other places LOL. That white container is so filled. Everything is so compact in there. Talk about no room to breathe. This shelf used to hold all my lotions & perfumes. It now holds my makeup, nail & hair products. Don't mind the MAC face chart hehe. I did that about 4 or 5 years ago??

Small Haul & The Weekend

Hey guys! I'm back with a mini haul & an update on how my weekend went. This weekend, I got to chill with family members & friends that I haven't hung out with in a while so that was awesome!

First things first though, BABY UPDATE! Yay! LOL.

I took this picture last week, right after I came home from the gym. I go to the gym usually after work & walk a few miles on the treadmill. Nothing too hard. I just take it easy but I have to admit that I get super tired, really fast! I really can't believe how fast my stomach is growing! My belly is showing way quicker than I could have ever imagined. I don't remember showing this quick when I was pregnant with Landon. I don't know how far along I am just yet but I'm gonna take a guess & say that I'm roughly around 9 weeks now. I could be wrong though. I'm just really excited to get an ultrasound, get our due date & all that good stuff done on Friday. I can't wait!!! What's even more exciting is that Landon gets to share this whole experience with Pat & I ♥. Now that's amazing!!!!

What gender do you think our baby will be? Put your responses below! I would love to see what you guys are thinking :)

I am just blessed & honored to have the amount of blog readers I have right now. I honestly had no idea that people would actually want to read my blog & be interested in what goes on in my life hahaha. So in return, I'd like to share an item that I'm loving for the month with you guys. At the end of every month, I'll do a post on a "beauty" item that I'm loving that month & give a brand new product away. Makes sense? LMAO. So for example, if I'm loving Mac's Soft Brown eyeshadow, then I'll give a brand new one away at the end of the month to one lucky person. All you have to do is comment on that specific blog post. More details to come soon. If you guys think this is a good idea to try some of my favorite products, both drugstore & high end, please leave me some feedback & let me know. If not, we can just skip this.

Soooo, Friday was a fabulous day. We hit up the mall because I was in search of a cute maxi dress to use to a beach party on Saturday. I was so annoyed because I couldn't find anything that I wanted. No beauty products, footwear or clothes. I actually picked up a simple black cardigan to bring around with me all the time because I'm always cold & some flats from wetseal which were comfortable. Sorry no pictures of those though. Then I hit up Macy's to look around. I bumped into a sales associate who was passing out samples of Justin Bieber's perfume "Someday". I had no idea he made a fragrance for women. I smelled it & totally fell in love. It actually smells good! It has notes of Mandarin, Juicy Pear, Wild Berries, Jasmine, Creamy Florals, Vanilla, Soft Musks. It was $55 for the largest bottle. I love the cap of the bottle. It's pink!!! It also has a keychain in the back of the bottle that's detachable so you can hook it on whatever you wish :)

Then as I was checking out, I saw Beyonce's Heat Rush perfume. I smelled it & it smelled soooo amazing that I also bought it :) I got the gift set which came with the full sized perfume, a bag & the lotion. They were selling the gift set for $59 which is the same price as the perfume alone. Steal! This perfume has notes of Orange, Orchid, Mango, and a Rio Sunset Musk. I took this picture the day after I bought it so you can see that I've already used the lotion.

I don't want the bag though so I'm gonna give it away. If you want it then just comment on this post with your name & email address. I'll pick someone at random. I'll give you guys until Friday, July 1st to enter. You can definitely use this bag as a makeup bag to hold some of your makeup or brushes. I have a lot of makeup bags so I don't need this. I honestly have no use for it so I just wanna give it away to someone who will make good use of it :)

That is it for my mini haul. Boring? I'm sorry hahaha.

Later that night, we headed to my parents' house for dinner. I requested that my Daddy cook me some Oxtail Stew. OMG, I love the way he makes his Oxtail. When I was pregnant with Landon, I use to crave it all the time. My Dad is such an amazing cook. I can never duplicate the way he makes his dishes. They just don't taste the same so I always look forward to dinner at their house coz I know it'll be BOMB! When we get there, to my surprise, my Dad made my two favorite dishes ever. He had Oxtail ready & Sinigang. For those of you who don't know what Sinigang is, it's a Filipino soup dish. Depends on who cooks it, the dish may contain beef, pork or fish in it with vegetables. I was in food heaven!! My tummy & baby was really happy, I'm sure.

Do you guys like the way my Dad cuts his watermelon? They're super sized!! LOL. After dinner, we had a karaoke contest hahaha. My Dad put up some money & told us to sing karaoke. Whoever had the highest score would win the money. It was so hilarious because we had ties & were pretty much trying hard to beat eachother's scores lol. In the end, my Sister & I had to split the money. I honestly had a higher score but my Sister is such a Daddy's girl that he made us split. Spoiled brat! Hahaha. But nonetheless, it was such a fun night! My Dad was nearly in tears because he was just really happy to see all his children & grandchildren just having a good time at their home. My Mom got there late. She had to work but it was okay because we got to spend a little bit of time with her. I love my Parents. They are nothing short of amazing!!!

On Saturday, we headed to my god son's 5th birthday party at the beach. It was nice to see friends that we haven't hung out with in a long time. The highlight of the party though were these guys. . .

OMGGGGGGGG! They were soooo cute & adorable! These Jack Russell puppies were so friendly & playful too. I was holding them most of the time & playing with them. I remember how my dog Nismo used to be as small as these puppies. Nismo could fit in the palm of my hand & I really miss that!! It really brought back a lot of memories of when Nismo was a puppy. I couldn't put these pups down! I asked Pat if we could get another puppy & he said NO :( Wahhhh.

Finally today, we got to hang out with Pat's cousins. Chayce was here!! Chayce is Pat's cousin's son. I call him my BFF because we get along so well! He is the most happiest baby. He smiles at every little thing & he is sooo handsome! We had the privelage of having a family day at the beach today. We got rained on for a while but the sun eventually came out & we got to enjoy the day in the water & catching fishes & crabs for the kids. I was so exhausted when I got home that I knocked out as soon as I got out of the shower. Patrick's newphew Cruz has been keeping me on my toes lately, too. They're staying over the house for the whole summer so I get to refresh my memory on how to handle a toddler all over again LOL.

I present to you, my BFF Chayce :) Isn't he so adorable? He's posing with his Uncle Jao. He's so heavy though! He's one chubby baby.

And this little guy is Pat's nephew Cruz. He's always with me. When I get up in the morning, he'll play with me. Whenever he knows I'm going out, he cries to follow me. If I'm holding him, he won't go down. Hahaha. He's another happy baby. He just keeps to himself & does his own thing. His name fits him coz all he does is "cruise" :)

That's pretty much my weekend. Sorry for the long post! Thanks for reading though! And, I'm almost at 100 followers. Let's get there ladies so I can do a giveaway :D

Wicked

Here's another look I did. I apologize for the bags under my eyes or puffiness or whatever you call it. Being that I'm pregnant, I am constantly tired day in & day out. I try not to over sleep so obviously when these photos were taken, I was definitely fighting my sleep. I look like a freckin' crack addict in these photos hahaha, but whatever ;P I wanted something soft, yet with a pop of color. Purple & Greens compliment eachother & if you wanted to do a night time look, you could definitely throw a darker color in the outter V & smoke that sucker out :)

I achieved this look using Nars Wicked Duo Eyeshadow. I remember a few months ago, Sephora was selling this duo on their website for only $10!!! There was another duo that I wanted as well (I forgot the name) & it was also $10 but by the time I went to buy it, it was all sold out :( Nars products are a bit on the pricier side so whenever you see a deal like this, you just gotta take advantage of it! I hope you guys enjoy. More looks to come so stay tuned.

Awww, can't you tell by my face that I've gained some baby weight?! I can't wait to show you guys a picture of my belly! It's growing real fast!!! I don't remember showing this quick when I was pregnant with Landon, but with this pregnancy, my stomach is just out there hahaha. We're going to find out how far along I am on July 1st. I can't wait. I'm thinking I'm around 8-9 weeks. Let's see if I'm correct. I will totally do a blog post on that appointment & fill you all in on the details so please be patient :)

FOTD: WnW Blue Had Me At Hello

I tried my best to take good pictures in natural sunlight but uhh...FAIL! My eyeshadow looks black & white to me? Taking pictures is definitely hard work. I really want the Canon T21 since I am digital camera-less. It doesn't hurt to have kick ass pictures right? I asked the boyfriend but he gave me the run around LOL. I'm working on it, so hold still :) I'm just waiting till the day he gives me his debit card & tells me to order it hahaha.

Boo for generic quality pictures. It just throws everything off. Nonetheless, I hope you guys enjoy!

Expect The Unexpected: BLESSED ♥

If you folks don't follow me on Twitter or you guys missed the memo, I announced today on Twitter & Facebook that Pat & I were expecting.

We found out last night. I missed my period last month so I decided to take a test last night because I felt sick at work. The fact that I drink alcohol & smoke cigarettes at times was also a huge reason why I wanted to take a test just to be sure that if I was pregnant, I would have to stop all those things for the safety of the baby.

When I came home from work, I went straight to the bathroom & took the test. The second line was a bit faded but the fact that there were 2 lines just made me confused LOL. So I took a pic & sent it to my sister which then, she replied with "You're pregnant! Yayyyyyyy :)" I really couldn't believe it! I was in shock & pretty much in denial the whole night. Pat told his sister that night as well. The next morning, I decided to take another one & this time both lines were visible. HOLY COW! I called my Mom to tell her & she was cool with it. I left it up to her to tell my Dad all about it coz I just can't tell him LOL. I'm scared!! He just got the news a few days ago that my Brother's Girlfriend is pregnant as well & now his Daughter? Oh helllll. He must be stressing out or something LMAO. Telling our immediate family was not as stressful & scary as I thought it would be. Landon was mad at first but he kinda eased up on the situation as the day went by. He definitely wants a baby brother. He made us all vote LOL. I then took it to twitter & facebook to share the good news with more family & friends and I just can't believe how supportive & excited everyone is for us! I was nearly in tears from all the comments that we've got & everyone's kind responses. I love you guys all!!

So I guess I need to take it easy on the workouts. I am definitely gonna keep you guys posted. I have a new topic to blog about now: Pregnancy :) I am definitely trying to eat healthy still & gonna do some walking everyday so I don't gain too much weight coz I know I'm gonna need to put in overtime to lose all that weight all over again. Be on the look our for more pregnancy updates, posts & belly pictures!

Do You Love Manny Pacquiao?

I hope you do because I LOVE HIM!! He's such an amazing boxer & a very well respected individual. So anyway, today we went to the mall to take Landon, my niece & Pat's niece to ride the train. While my Sister took them on the train, the Boyfriend & I hit up Champs Sports because he wanted some new kicks. This guy says that I have issues buying footwear? Uhhh, he should take a look at himself LOL. So he found 2 new shoes which seriously look identical to eachother, just different styles. But he bought both of them anyway. Hmmm, he gets that from me LOL. As we were about to pay, Pat shows me Pacquiao's shoes. I am not a fan of red but I am a fan of him. The shoes are black & red. I decided to try them out & the first thing I noticed was how comfortable they were. I knew I tried on shoes that felt the exact same way before. As I take them off, I see that they're Flywires!!! I've been wanting a pair of Nike Flywires for a long time now. Pat offered to get me some pink & black ones before but I just couldn't grasp the price tag of $100 for running shoes! They usually run from $100-$150, depending on which ones you want. So when I saw these Pacquiao ones today, I knew I just had to get them because they were on sale for $49.99 and the original price was $89.99! What a steal, huh? The boyfriend offered to get them for me. You just gotta love a man who knows how to keep his girl happy, yah know? I love these pair of shoes & I can't wait to go walking in them!!

What do you guys think? Does any of you own Flywires?

Liquif'eyeD

I think that this specific eyeliner deserves a post of it's own because it's such a phenomenal product!! I'm sure everyone has heard everything good that there is to say about this eyeliner. It really lives up to it's hype & I'm glad that I was able to get my hands on it! I paid less than $7 for this eyeliner & by far, it's the best one that I own right now. I've compared it to my high end eyeliners & this one just shuts everything DOWN!

I love how pigmented & jet black it is!! I thought UD 24/7 in Zero was black but I was wrong! As you can see in the pictures, this liner does not smudge! It stays on the waterline for hours on end, with very minimal running. My eyes are sensitive so I'm sure that's the reason it runs because I'm always tearing. But other than that, it stays where it's supposed to stay. Applying the liner is as smooth as a baby's bottom. There's no tugging at all. It's smooth & creamy. Almost feels like a cream liner in a pencil form actually. The only downfall? It's so soft that the tip can break easily so you need to be careful with that. Other than that, this liner is amazing. I will definitely be re-purchasing.

If you haven't got your hands on this product yet, then hurry up & go get one :) It's definitely worth your money!! So worth it that I'm getting it in every color that they have when I have the chance to go to town. I wish I went today since I was there but I didn't have time. I'll talk to you guys in my next blog post :)

Birchbox & First Impressions for June

This month's Birchbox items were so much better than last month's :) I'm sure I'm going to like most of the products that I received for this month.

1. Kate Spade Twirl perfume $80
2. Laura Geller Baked Blush N' Brighten $29.50
3. Oscar Blandi Olio Di Jasmine Hair Serum $16.00
4. Pangea Organics Toner (for normal/oily skin) $26.00
5. Herban Essentials Orange Towelettes $15.00

The one thing that caught my eye when I unwrapped everything out of the tissue paper was the Laura Geller Baked Blush! OMG, I would seriously pay more than $10 for that! It's 9 grams of product!! I was blown away! I'm planning to use it more as a highlighter than a blush because I'm far too dark to be using it as a blush. It just meshes with my skintone. It has a good amount of shimmer though to be used as a highlight. Which btw, I might add, I finally got NYC's Sunny Bronzer because of all the things I've heard about it. Bleh, it doesn't even show up on me. The downfall of living in Hawaii & especially now that it's summertime, I'm getting darker than everrrrrrrrr ;P

I can't wait to try these products out, especially the hair serum & Pangea toner. If all is good, I'll purchase them in full size :) If you guys have a subscription to Birchbox, let me know what you got for this month :)

I'm back :) Update & Mini Haul

I've been missing, I know, I know :( My bad. I really like to take some time off on the weekends & just enjoy it with my family & friends. This weekend was a blast! All we did was eat LMAO. The weekend is our time to just eat & be careless about our food choices. It's not a bad thing :) As long as you're willing to get yo ass in check with working out once the weekend is gone, it's all good :)

So on Friday, we went shopping. Pat offered me a shopping spree at MAC & I said no! I honestly don't know what the hell possessed me to say NO. I don't regret it though. I have so much makeup, most of them just sit there collecting dust. I'm actually out of storage for my makeup so I need to figure something out soon! I think it's about time to call my Sister over to come makeup shopping at my house again LOL. I honestly didn't buy anything at the mall. That has got to be the first! Then we headed to Walmart & instead of looking for something to buy, I stayed in the car & slept while Pat took Landon & his niece Ryenne shopping. Later that night we headed to our friends house. Just another night that turned into a drunken morning LOLOLOL. Fun times!

On Saturday, we had family time <3 We took Landon to the beach because that's one of his favorite places to be! I tell you, that kid could stay in the water forever!! We took Pat's nephew along with us. He's so adorable! He's a little over a year old & he loves the water! They reside in Texas so they have no beaches there. i'm glad that he's not afraid of the water. After the beach, Pat took Landon & I to see X-Men. Oh man, I can't explain the love I have for X-Men. I am seriously a sucker for anything Marvel Comics, especially the X-Men movies. X-Men The Last Stand, hands down is the best movie from all the X-Men movies. Nonetheless, it was a good movie though! After that we had dinner at some Asian restaurant here in Lahaina. I'm kinda bummed that they have new owners now because the food quality has change but the Pad Thai was awesome!!! Landon & I were supposed to share & I'm surprised he ate most of it.

Pat ordered some Oyster shooters & let me say that they were good. I'm not a huge fan of Oysters but he told me to try one. I loaded that thing with lemon, soy sauce & tabasco then ate it with a chopstick LMAO. It was so yummy though!

And on our way home, this is what our view was like. It is definitely summer time :) I love how the sun sets late during the summer! This was taken around 7:40pm.

Then today before we headed to work, we did some shopping. Nothing exciting. I picked up a few things. I picked up some nail polishes for myself & to give away when I hit 100 followers. They're duo-chrome which is pretty cool. I also picked up a new face primer & I found one by Hard Candy. I'm almost out of my Rimmel Primer so I needed to get a new one but it's so hard to find it here now days. They're always sold out :( The Hard Candy primer seems pretty promising though. Kinda reminds me of a imitation version of the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. Then I got more Elf stuff to give away to you guys! :) The Elf stand had a really shitty ass selection though. Booo! It was practically empty! I also got this storage because I needed to make space for my makeup & I wanted something that I could store all my frequently used makeup in. It was only $12.99 & I love how I can just take this whole thing to the bathroom with me when I do my makeup.

I am seriously inseperable from all these products & brushes. I use them all the time! Of course, my eyeshadows needed to be stored somewhere else because they're not gonna fit in here.

For lunch, we headed to Dragon Dragon. I love this place! I always go there for the same food LOL. The food is sooo good, including the Hot Tea that they serve. We had Hot & Sour soup. By far this place has the best soup I've tasted. We also had their Deep Fried Sweet & Sour Fish Fillets & House Noodles with Seafood. Yuuuummmm!

That's pretty much what my weekend was like. I didn't want to go to work because I was exhausted but you know Mama needs to make that dough to support my crazy shopping addictions/habits :D So how was your guys' weekend?

Happy Birthday Mommy + FOTD

Last night we took my Mom out to dinner for her birthday. Today is her actual birthday but since my siblings & I all had the day off from work yesterday, we decided that we'd take her to dinner. We went to a restaurant that offered a Seafood & Prime Rib buffet for only $29.95 per person. Kids 5 & under ate for free! OMG, the food was to die for!! We feasted on Ahi Poke (seasoned raw tuna), Shrimp Cocktail, Seafood Pasta, Pot Roast, Prime Rib & more! I had a Pineapple Cheesecake for dessert & it was sooooo yummy! I am definitely going back whenever I get the chance. Right now, I'm concentrated on burning all those calories that I consumed last night =/
You can't see me LOL. My watermark is blocking me. This is some of the lucky ones who got to join us for dinner :)

I finally got some play with my WnW 'Petal Pusher' palette. When it comes to eyeshadows, Purples has got to be my favorite color of all time. I always always always find myself wanting to reach for something Purple :) Lighting was so terrible yesterday. It was really overcast, dark & gloomy. I hate taking pictures because in almost every picture I have on this blog, it looks like my foundation NEVER matches. How annoying. But whatever. In real life, it does :) My makeup seriously looks blue in some pictures. Thank you SUN for not shining yesterday. Click on images to enlarge.

Makeup done :) But my hurrrr ain't lol.

My hair is finally done :) I curled my hair with a clipless curling iron by a brand called Jose Eber.

That's about it :) Just wanna wish my Mommy a very Happy Birthday! She went clubbin' last night with my Pops and some of their friends & sadly I couldn't join them because we had Landon & Pat's niece Ryenne with us. It's okay. There's always next time. 44 years old is still young & I hope she knows that :) What was your guys weekend like? I'm about to leave the house in a bit to go to a party so I wanted to do this post which was supposed to go up yesterday. Sorry for the delay.
