If you're familiar with how Garnier Fructis products smell, then I'm sure you know how this smells like because all their products smell pretty much the same. It leaves my hair feeling smooth & shiny. I've used this product over 5 times within the past 2 weeks & have no problems to report.

Yes!! Pregnancy Update: 11 Weeks

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

I am almost at the 12 week mark! How time flies! When I tell a lot of people how huge I'm getting, they think I'm overreacting. Really, I'm not. I don't remember showing as quick as I am right now. I feel 5 months pregnant LMAO! My stomach is pretty big for almost 3 months, atleast IMO. I've grown since the last time I took a belly shot which was around 8 weeks.

Can you guys see the difference?

So let's see what I've been up to the past few weeks of pregnancy. Cravings? Nothing in particular. In the beginning it was Spinach & Colby Jack Cheese Omelettes. I haven't had those in a while though. I know I've been craving noodles a lot, but what's new? I crave those regardless if I'm pregnant or not LOL. Well maybe I crave Nectarines a little more than I usually do. I don't like them soft though. They need to have that 'crunch' to them or I won't eat them. Nobody said that pregnant women were easy to please haha.

As for my symptoms, well, I've been soooooooo exhausted! Every morning when I eat breakfast, I feel the need to fall asleep right away. I try not to because that's how you gain HELLA weight. I honestly can't stay up. I'm just lazy & tired. That sucks because it interferes with my ability to workout. I try my best to go walking when I can but the laziness makes everything 10x harder. It's said that fatigueness tends to die down during the second trimester. I hope so. If so, I'll be incorporating more exercise into my daily schedule. Work is also getting a little harder even though I'm still in my first trimester. The backaches are starting to take a toll on me. If there's 2 things I absolutely despise about being pregnant, they are: BACKACHES & the 1 million bathroom breaks you take in a day. I promise you though, the payoff is rewarding!

As for weight gain, I've gained 6 pounds so far -- or atleast that's what our bathroom scale tells me every morning ;P I can tell that I've gained some weight. It shows on my face LOL. My clothes has also gotten tighter. DUH! It's really snug around my belly area. I don't plan on buying any maternity clothing. I'm just gonna wear loose, flowy dresses/clothing :)

I have another check up coming up on Friday. I can't wait. I will update you guys with more photos & info soon! And if any of you are expecting Mothers, download the Baby Bump app if you have a droid or iPhone. I love that app. I'm on it daily :) See you guys in my next post.

Mini Makeup Haul

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

Just a small haul today from Walmart. I see everyone talking about this Falsies mascara so I had to give it the go. I've already tried it once I got home & the results look promising. I'm gonna test it out for another week or two & give you guys my review on it.

That WnW lipstick color is so gorgeous! I did a swatch of it tonight but the pic just doesn't do it justice. I will post it below to show you what it looks like on my hand though. I couldn't swatch it on the lips because the lighting is terrible at this time of the night. I don't remember the name of the lipstick because the names are printed on the plastic packaging that protects the lipstick so once you take it off, the name is gone. It was something like Plum Fairy?? LOL, I think?

Last but not least, that angled contour brush. It was $5 I believe. It is so soft!! I just had to pick it up because of how soft & inexpensive the brush was. I will test it out for a few weeks & report back to you guys.

That's it for today. I will post a tutorial once I get back from Lanai. I wanted to post it today but I really need to get some shut eye because I need to be up bright & early tomorrow morning because we're leaving for Lanai :) Talk to yall when I get back. In the meantime, Tweet ME :D

Review: Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

Product name: Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara
Purchased at: Walgreens
Product price: $7.99
Review time: 2 Weeks

Product claims: Ophthalmologist tested & allergy tested, suitable for sensitive eyes & contact lens wearers, clump free, fragrance free, volumizes & evenly thickens from roots to tips.

What product has done for me:
Slight volume, holds curl for over 8 hours, does not flake, easy to remove with makeup remover or towelette & lengthens lashes.

Would I re-purchase? No. Although this mascara is very affordable & does what it claims to do, it didn't volumize my lashes as much as I wanted it to, even if I applied a few coats. It lengthened my lashes & the fact that it doesn't flake just makes this mascara hard to not fall in love with. But the one downfall is that it doesn't seperate the lashes well. As you can see in the photo, my lashes are stuck together. I've tried other mascaras from the drugstore that does a better job. The wand is a little too big for my taste but I do like it. But being that it's so big, it makes it just a tad bit hard to get into the inner corner of the lashes. Nonetheless, this is a great mascara but it's not what I'm looking for.

Haul: Urban Decay + First Impressions

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

I finally caved in & jumped on that "Naked Palette" bandwagon. My boyfriend offered to get me this so I shrugged my shoulders & said "why not?" LOL. If you've ever ordered from Urban Decay before, you know that they have super fast shipping. I ordered it last Friday & received it this afternoon. That was less than a week wait :)

I really don't care for the brush that it came with. I wish I got the older palette that contained the 2 eyeliners instead. The brush doesn't pick up & pack on as much color as I'd like so I don't think I'll be using it.

I love that the palette comes with a mini size UDPP. You can never go wrong with that :) That's the base that I use under any eyeshadow or secondary base. It's a must have!

The palette is very pigmented. Urban Decay is known for their pigmented, soft & blendable eyeshadows. Of course, Urban Decay has outdone themselves again with this palette. If you're a neutral makeup wearer type of person, this palette will definitely suit you. Priced at $48 USD, I feel that it's worth it. If that's a little out of your budget or if this palette is hard to get a hold of in your area, have no fear. I will go through my Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette & find dupes for you :) That will be in another post, of course. All the perks of the Naked Palette for a fraction of the price. Stay tuned. Till then, enjoy.

For your reference:
-In MAC Studio Fix Foundation, I am an NC50 at the moment.
-No BASE used.
-Swatched with fingers.

Colors LEFT to RIGHT:
Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep & Gunmetal.

Review: Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

Product name: Rimmel Stay Matte Clarifying Matte Foundation in 201 Classic Beige
Purchased at: Walgreens
Product price: $7 - $8 (got it on sale for $1.49)
Review time: 1 day

Product claims: Rimmel introduces new Stay Matte Clarifying Matte Foundation, a fluid, shine-free formula that leaves your skin looking flawless and fresh for 12 hours. Stay Matte Foundation is formulated with SKINPURE™ Complex: a gentle dose of salicylic acid, a known skin clarifying ingredient, and botanical extracts which help purify skin and minimize the appearance of pores, leaving you with a visibly purified complexion. 12 hours of comfort and confidence. Go ahead and give your skin an immediate and much-needed confidence boost with this fantastic foundation. It’s the ultimate pick-me-up.

What product has done for me: NOTHING!

Would I re-purchase? No. It's so heartbreaking that I couldn't even review this product for more than a day. The minute I got home, I tried it on to test it & it just sucked! Obviously the foundation is a few shades lighter than my skintone but this is the darkest one they had in stock. I did have a darker powder to set it with though. This foundation does not offer coverage at all. I tried applying 2 layers of the foundation & it immediately caked up. I did like the way it felt on my face though. It had a light feeling to it, almost as if it was a moisturizer had been applied to the face. The packaging is a squeeze tube but the product dispenses like crazy if you're not careful. It's very hard to control, IMO. I'm glad that this foundation was on sale for $1.49 because I would hate to pay the full price for something that does absolutely nothing for me. Actually, I hate it so much that I wouldn't pay $1.49 for another bottle.

Have you guys tried this product before? If so, how has it worked out for you? LMK in the comments below :)

Collective Haul

**NOT PICTURED**
-Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation
-Loreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara

Ahhhh finally! I've been dying to restock on these lashes for a while now but everytime I go to Longs, they're always out of the black ones. I had no idea that Pukalani had a Longs in their area so when we went to visit Patrick's cousin up there, we hit up Longs. Nice to know that they're makeup selection in bangin'!! Considering that Pukalani is such a small town, I'm sure their stock will not run low. If you've been a follower of my blog for a while, you know that I love these lashes. I was stoked to see that they had all the lashes I usually purchase & in black too, so I picked up a few. I hate that the drive is so far though :( It's about a 1.5 hour drive from where I live. I'll definitely check out Longs everytime I'm at Pat's cousin's house for sure though!

I got these cotton pads from Costco. A review will be coming soon! I can say that I love them though. As for the DVD, I got that from Ross for a whopping $6.99!! It was so cheap, especially for a Blue Ray DVD. I love this movie. Has any of you seen it before?

As for the Tresemme products, I got them because I wanted to try something new. My heat protectant right now is by Nexxus & my curling spray is by John Freida. I've heard so many good things about Tresemme products so I wanted to give it a try, plus I love the way the products smell. My Nexxus heat protectant is almost empty anyway so I was in need of a new one.

These Garnier Fructis products are LOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEE! I will do a review on them soon so please stay tuned! I will talk more about them in my review. I'll also do a comparison between Garnier Fructis' deep conditioner & Aussie's deeeeeep conditioner, both of which I love.

After months of not buying anything from MAC, I finally stopped by to do some damage & nothing caught my eye. So I just got the ever so famous Soft & Gentle MSF & a new Studio Fix Foundation. I've been wanting Soft & Gentle for the longest but I never did get it because I have so many MSF's & to be honest, I don't use them all that much. I don't know what possessed me but I decided to get it. I also needed a new Studio Fix Foundation because my NC43 is too light for me now. I knew I had gotten dark because everyone told me so (LOL) but I had no idea how dark I was until I went to MAC to get my foundation. I went from an NC43 to an NC50!!! Holy crap! Talk about getting some sun! That's what happens when you live in Hawaii. You're sunkissed 24/7.

Last but not least, I shopped for some clothes. I swear, when you got money to spend after paying all the bills & putting some aside for your bank account, there is absolutely NOTHING to buy. Nothing was appealing or eye catching to me. What a disappointment. I did manage to pick up 2 cardigans from F21 though. They were $11.80 each. Ever heard that pregnant women are always hot? Well, I'm the opposite. I'm always cold! Besides, you can never go wrong with cardigans because they go with everything. The shirt on the right was from Ammastar Apparel. My friend Erik is the owner. The shirt says "Straight Outta Maui" & I've been wanting this shirt for the longest. They only had this one left & it was in a large :( Off the shoulder tops run big on me, so I always get them one size smaller that my usual size. And even though this top is HUGE on me, I got it anyway because I know my stomach will grow tremendously.

That's pretty much it for my collective haul. Some pretty random stuff eh? Please be on the look out for my new posts. I will try to post as much as I can whenever I have free time on my hands. Till then, enjoy the rest of the week.

Nails of the Week

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately :( I've been busy with work & just been really tired! As I reach my second trimester soon, I'm hoping I'll have more energy to do other things & not be so caught up with sleeping so much. I promise I have a bunch of makeup looks that I wanted to share with you guys since a lot of you have been requesting FOTD's & tutorials. I don't know about the tutorials LOL because apparently I have no idea how to do them but step by step instructions wouldn't hurt right? I also have a collective haul coming soon & my June & July favorites all in one post because I completely forgot to mention my June faves hahaha.

Ok enough with the rambling. I talk too much HAHA.

I received this nail polish in my July Birchbox & let me tell you that I AM IN LOVE!!! I dig nude nail polishes a lot & this one is right up my alley. I can't even tell you how many compliments I've got on it & I just applied it today. I didn't clean up the edges when I took this picture since I was in a rush because I had to get ready for work. Nonetheless, it is such a beautiful color. It's a muted pink. I applied 2 coats. I am definitely getting this is full size. If you don't have this color, I recommend that you pick it up! You will not regret it. The picture just doesn't do it justice.

Btw, I'm getting a new camera soon so I'm hoping for better quality photos on the blog :D I'm not sure when I'm getting it yet, but I know that we'll be shopping around for one sometime this week. We're thinking the Canon T3. My cousin's girlfriend gave us some good feedback on that camera & I've read really good reviews on it but gotta test it out first. Any recommendations? Please share! Till next time, Ciao!

Nails of the Week

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

These colors have nothing to do with summer & frankly, I don't care ;P I don't even like my fingernails painted because I suck at applying nail polish. I always have have my toenails painted though & since my nail polish collection is growing, I thought that I'd put it to use by painting my fingernails every so often.

I was inspired by Jillian's video (click here to view) & how she did her awesome gradient nail tutorial. I am completely obsessed with Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby Nail Polish & I just couldn't wait to give it some play so this is what I came up with it. ENJOY :)

Birchbox July

Click HERE to enter my GIVEAWAY! If you've already entered, that's okay too! Enter again to increase your chances of winning :D Keep entering until July 31, 2011.

I received my Birchbox for the month of July. I like the Cynthia Rowley sleeve that the box was covered with. In this month's subscription, I received:

1. Philosophy - Purity made simple one-step facial cleanser
8 oz. $20 | 16 oz. $32
It claims to gently clear away dirt, oil, and makeup without drying out skin.

2. Nuxe - Huile Prodigieuse Multi-usage Dry Oil
50 ml $29.50 | 100 ml $44.50
Gives face & body a pretty glow (minus any slickness) Works to smooth away flyaways, too.

3. Redken - Shine flash Spray
4.4 oz $17
Weightless spray gives hair a brilliant finish.

4. Zoya - Nail Polish in Pandora
0.5 fl oz $8
Creamy, slightly metallic nude.

5. Extra Kind - Almond & Apricot Bar
Healthy Snack Bar

I've tried the Nuxe Oil when I first opened the box. It really doesn't do anything for me. It didn't leave a shine how I imagine most oils would do. However, it did leave the surface of my skin very smooth & it wasn't oily at all. I do like the smell. It has a familiar smell to it but I can't really put my hands on what it smells like.

I haven't had the chance to try the rest of the products. I am excited to try the Zoya nail polish though. I was so excited when I saw it in the box! This is my very first Zoya polish. I'll be trying it out sometime this week :) I'm also looking forward to trying out the Redkin shine spray.

So if you're a Birchbox subscriber, what goodies have you received this month?
